MICRONESIA CALLING

Greetings dear Friends and Family,

May the Lord bless you with health, strength, wisdom, peace and joy. May your life overflow with blessings and grace.

Our fall semester has started here at Micronesia Bible College (MBC). We have six full-time students and 17 part-time students, some who were last minute additions and a surprise from the Lord. We currently have 4 dorm students but think we should soon have a 5th dorm student. Once again, our student body represents all four of the states of the Federated States of Micronesia. It is our prayer that not only would each state be represented but all of the outer island communities also. This fall we are offering the following courses: Old Testament Survey, Hermeneutics, Foundations of Christian Life, Theology of God and his Revelation, General Epistles, and a course called Prayer and Intercession. Please pray for all of us here at MBC, that the Lord will give us understanding minds and a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

The Chi Alpha ministry has started up again on the National campus of the College of Micronesia. All total there were 60 who joined with us for the first meeting of the semester. About 40% of those were first time attenders. Please pray that the Lord will clearly be lifted up this year and that God will move across the campus this year in a rich harvest.

Mary-Ann and I thank the Lord for His faithfulness, provision and protection this past year. We also thank Him for your love and faithfulness. May the Lord richly bless each of you and increase your fruit a hundredfold.

Please continue to pray for:

1. God's anointing on our lives and a fresh touch of the Holy Spirit.
2. Wisdom and direction for us as we lead Micronesia Bible College.
3. God's hand of provision and protection on our students and their families.
4. The churches of Micronesia and former students as they seek to plant new churches.
5. Finally, please pray for our children and grandchildren that God would continue to work in their lives and that they will be responsive to Him as He guides and directs them.

Micronesia Bible College New Roof Completed Off with the old and on with the new! Finished product! The main college building of Micronesia Bible College has a new roof. We are thankful to all of you who contributed to this project. A local church congregation was blessed to have the work and they did a great job. The old tin that was removed was in great demand. We were surprised as it was not in very good shape. Several people came and asked for the tin. However, the church workers were excited and thankful for it dividing it out amongst themselves as that gave them opportunity to put tin roofs and walls on their island homes rather than thatch.

Summer Activities During the summer, we have been busy doing inside ceiling repair work and painting at Micronesia Bible College. The plan is also to do repair work on part of the outside walls of the college that have been termite damaged. The AG General Council of the Federated States of Micronesia will hold its bi-annual meeting in July. Bill is preparing for the meetings he will share in and Mary-Ann is preparing and assisiting on the administration side. Micronesia Bible College will host pastors, credential candidates and delegates that will travel to Pohnpei from other islands. Also, this summer we have been doing some children's ministry. We are thankful for this change of pace, but we will be back in the college classroom beginning August 23rd. "Let them give glory to the Lord and declare His praises in the islands." For the recruitment of new students and the new semester at Micronesia Bible College. 3. Wisdom and discernment for us. 4. The funds coming into our account have been substantially lower than usual.
